Lavrov: Interference in states’ affairs and their sovereignty unacceptable

Moscow, SANA- Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov reaffirmed the importance of the noninterference in the affairs of the region’s countries and their sovereignty, noting that the American intervention in Syria, Iraq and Libya has led to the destruction in those countries.

Lavrov stressed during a press conference with Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Saudi regime, Faisal bin Farhan, in Moscow on Thursday that the interference in the internal affairs of sovereign states and imposing ideological models on them from abroad is unacceptable and that no party should practice such behavior.

He noted that the behavior of the United States has led to serious repercussions on the region’s countries and their peoples.

Lavrov pointed out that there is no alternative to a political solution to all crises in the Middle East region, especially in Syria.
